Abington, PA (03/16) – Last week we had received a memo from Miami-Dade County, Board and Code Administration Division regarding electrogalvanized (EG) roofing nails. This is a follow up to our previous letters dated March 15, 2016 and March 23, 2016 regarding Dade County nail listings. I have again included a copy of the Dade memo for your review.
Based on the current uncertainty and clarity regarding the use of Dade Roofing nails, we suggest you suspend shipment of Continental Materials Coil Roofing nails until more complete accurate information becomes available.
We will continue to work towards a positive resolution, but want to make sure you avoid any potential issues on projects/jobsites with your customers.
We apologize for this inconvenience and look forward to supporting your business needs going forward. As additional information becomes available we will continue to keep you in the loop.
