Organizational Changes – Supporting our Valued Customers and CMI Business Growth

Continental Materials, Inc. (CMI) is pleased to announce several organizational changes and promotions of key employees that will reinforce CMI’s commitment to its customers and business partners as well as the expansion and support of its growing business.
Dave Dickherber – has been promoted to Vice President of Sales for CMI’s South Central Region. “Dave’s geographic responsibilities will now expand to the markets of Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa, and assist in supervising the Mid-West Region. In addition Dave will be responsible for expanding the sales team and sales efforts to meet market requirements and business expansion opportunities”. Dave’s years of experience and industry leading knowledge in the synthetic segment supports CMI’s commitment to the industry to provide excellent service and field support for our valued customers in this region. Dave will continue to be based in San Antonio, Texas.
Len Ayers – has been promoted to Vice President – Specialty Fasteners. Len has developed extensive opportunities and provided substantial growth in the important STAFDA specialty fastener segment of the CMI business over the last several years. “We are excited about Len’s promotion. With over 20 years of industry experience and knowledge based in the nail and fastener business make Len a strong asset to CMI and our customers as we continue to expand our business and product offering nationally”, says Peter Fischer, President of CMI. “In his expanded role, Len will have full responsibility for sales, product and business development and customer care in this important business segment”.
Mike DiStefano – has been promoted to Executive Vice President – COO. In this expanded role, in addition to his current responsibility for operations and support of business development and growth, Mike will assume the additional responsibilities of inside operations, finance and accounting, while continuing to oversee product development, code compliance as well as overseeing the management of government regulations and requirements that will ensure we have the processes in place to meet the needs of CMI’s growing business segments.
