Continental Materials Announces Expansion of S/A Product Line – Now including butyl products to extend use of CMI products to additional market segments

(CMI) is pleased to announce that in addition to the SecureGrip PS/MAX™ SBS modified self-adhered products already used and requested throughout the United States, CMI is now introducing premium butyl adhesive roof underlayments with enhanced S/A performance. The initial line-up under the SecureGrip Ultima™ trade name includes:
SecureGrip Ultima HTB™ – 2 squares, 36” wide butyl self-adhesive membrane with a high strength woven polymer scrim, wide temperature range performance, ASTM D1970 compliance, highly walkable surface and 180-day weather exposure for use as a secondary water barrier under all types of roofing.
SecureGrip Ultima 48HTB™ – 5 squares, 48” wide butyl self-adhesive membrane with a high strength woven polymer scrim, wide temperature range performance, ASTM D1970 compliance, highly walkable surface and 365-day weather exposure with its “cool-green” surface and for use as a secondary water barrier under all types of roofing systems.
