ARTC Asphalt Plant Sold…
Abington, PA (04/16) – The ARTC Asphalt plant in Douglassville, GA has been sold. CMI enjoyed a long term relationship with the plant, marketing their BURA throughout the Southeast. CMI also had an equity position in the facility and did our best to help them through a difficult period.
Effective April 4th we will continue to service the market, our customers, and the contractors that demand high quality BUR “No Smell” Asphalt from CMI. Nothing changes regarding our market position or our ability to supply our customers’ needs Nationwide. You still call the same number and receive the same products from CMI. CMI Asphalt producing locations have plenty of capacity to service our customer’s needs. Material is on the floor and ready for shipment.
CMI remains the only asphalt supplier to ship Nationwide in both Cartons and CMI PAKs. We look forward to continuing to support our customers and business partners.
